One rainy day, Peppa Pig, who was the mean main character, jumped into a big mud puddle that nobody else wanted to jump in. After she jumped in, she didn't come back out. When George, Daddy Pig, and Mummy Pig searched for her, they only found her clean red boots by the puddle. The puddle, which was black before, had turned red like blood.
After that day, every time it rained, big red puddles appeared. One rainy night, George saw Peppa covered in mud, with no eyes and missing her boots. George got haunted by whispers and his toy dinosaur seemed to talk, telling him to follow it.
Every time it rained, George heard Peppa's voice telling him to jump in the red puddle, but it wasn't really her voice. George was very scared and didn't follow the whispers. He hid inside, but the red puddles started appearing all around the house.
Daddy Pig and Mummy Pig began acting strange, feeding invisible things and ignoring George. George felt all alone and cuddled his toy dinosaur for comfort.
Then, George started seeing Peppa again—clean but missing her boots. Peppa tried to say something, but George only heard strange, jumbled sounds. He ran away, but Peppa chased him and suddenly fell, covered in blood. The red puddle began to ripple and pulled them both inside.
Evie, the second mean character, pretended to be nice to George but betrayed him by leading him to the red puddle and disappearing. Evie and Peppa laughed, saying, "You got betrayed!" George never trusted anyone again.
Later, George discovered that Daddy Pig and Mummy Pig had forgotten about him and started going out to the red puddle to be with Peppa. He was all alone with his toy dinosaur until the dinosaur betrayed him by saying, "I'm not your toy," and then pulled out a knife.
George ran out of the house in fear and splashed into the red puddle, sinking into it and turning into a shadow like Peppa, trapped forever in the dark water.
Another puddle appeared next to the first red puddle, even redder and more mysterious, waiting for the next person to come close.
